Terminator Zero isn’t the only project to make canonical additions to the sci-fi franchise set in motion by James Cameron back in 1984, but one new character in the Netflix anime proves Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character could have been much better at his primary function. Although Timothy Olyphant doesn’t lead the Terminator Zero cast, his role as the story’s main villain is vital. His fate at the end of Terminator Zero season 1 doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t return in future, and if he does, his ingenuity has proven he could be an even bigger threat than he already has been.
