After a slew of big announcements, yet another LEGO Movie is now in development. The LEGO series has gotten some activity with the well-reviewed 2024 film Piece by Piece. Unlike the other LEGO Movies, which are fictional stories, Piece by Piece is a whimsical biography of singer and musician Pharrell Williams. The main LEGO series, which includes The LEGO Movie and its 2019 follow up, The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, was taken over by Universal in 2020. Since then, development on The LEGO Movie 3 was seemingly confirmed yet massively stalled as the LEGO-verse grappled with new leadership.
