Batman is known for always having a contingency plan, no matter the situation. While it’s true that Batman plots behind the backs of his friends and knows how to take them down if he ever has to, it’s also been shown that he’s entirely justified in doing so, given the incredible extent of the power wielded by heroes like Superman.
