Sansa Stark becoming Queen in the North is one of the most satisfying elements of Game of Thrones‘ ending, but season 8 doesn’t address a glaring problem with this development. Although Sansa’s entire story builds to her becoming a leader in the North, the conclusion to her arc feels rushed much like the rest of Game of Thrones’ ending. Things wrap up pretty neatly, despite the fact that the Great Houses of Westeros are locked in massive political conflicts for much of the series.
