WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther has sent a message to The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio following RAW. The latest edition of WWE RAW saw Dominik Mysterio making a bold claim about The Ring General.
During a backstage segment on WWE RAW, The Judgment Day discussed their strategy. Finn Balor, the faction’s leader, expressed his desire to prevent Damian Priest from getting a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This is when Dominik Mysterio chimed in with a big statement about the reigning World Heavyweight Champion.
Dirty Dom mentioned the possible scenario of him beating World Heavyweight Champion Gunther in a match. While the rest of the members were fine with this, Carlito laughed at Mysterio’s suggestion, leaving the faction confused by his reaction.
To diffuse the situation, Carlito offered to speak to General Manager Adam Pearce about arranging a match between Dominik Mysterio and Gunther. Although The Judgment Day remains confident in Dirty Dom, Gunther is focused on preparing for his upcoming match against Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel 2024 next week. Mysterio’s comments have caught the attention of The Ring General, prompting him to send a warning following WWE RAW.
Gunther warns Dominik Mysterio about their last encounter
The reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther responded to Dominik Mysterio’s comments by sharing a clip of their previous bout from March on X (formerly known as Twitter). In the video, Gunther decisively beats down Dominik Mysterio, and he captioned it simply with, “Dominik?”
In the meantime, Gunther issued a warning to Dirty Dom, while Carlito secured Mysterio a match against the former WWE Champion next week. If Mysterio wins, he will earn a spot in the number one contendership match for Gunther’s World Heavyweight Championship. Now, only time will tell if Mysterio can rise to this challenge.
