Showrunners of General Hospital have not given any official statement confirming Charlotte’s departure from the show.
Rumors of her exit began circulating when some media accounts speculated that the character would no longer return to the show. Fans were thus concerned that Scarlett Fernandez was leaving General Hospital. However, Charlotte’s story arc is not over yet, so there is a possibility that we might see her in the future.
Fans last saw Charlotte in the July 17, 2024, episode of General Hospital, as she escaped Port Charles with her father, Valentin Cassadine. She had just returned from her boarding school a few weeks before this. Although Charlotte’s parents, Valentin and Anna, have kept her in the dark about her father’s criminal past, she will most likely become aware of it in her offscreen timeline. Since her escape with Valentin, Charlotte’s grandma Laura has been searching for her but to no avail. This further fuelled the rumors that it was the last time we saw Charlotte in the show. However, as mentioned above, the producers have been tight-lipped about the matter, prompting a ray of hope for her return.
Charlotte’s rumored exit from General Hospital isn’t the only thing that worried fans of the series. Jophielle Love’s character Violet Finn’s departure came as a huge shock. In the latest episode, audiences learned that Hamilton Finn, Violet’s father, is set to be released from rehab. This means that Violet will have to reunite with his father and leave.
