Joe Russo provides a key update on Extraction 3. The Extraction series got its start in 2020 with Extraction, an action film that chronicled the story of mercenary Tyler Rake who has to go on an incredibly deadly extraction mission. Both Extraction and its 2023 sequel Extraction II starred Chris Hemsworth in the lead role. Both films are directed by Sam Hargrave and feature screenplays and stories by Anthony and Joe Russo, more famously known as the Russo Brothers. Since the release of last year’s installment, Extraction 3 was announced to be in talks.
