New live-action Disney art imagines Up‘s Carl as if he were a real person. Up is a Pixar film released in 2009, following the story of septuagenarian Carl Fredricksen as he embarks on an adventure to South America with an unexpected young stowaway. Up features a leading voice cast including Edward Asner, Jordan Nagai, John Ratzenberger, Christopher Plummer, Bob Peterson, and Delroy Lindo. Up won Oscars for Best Original Score and Best Animated Feature and is regularly regarded as one of the best movies made by Pixar.
