MaXXXine, the long awaited sequel to X, has finally been released, and here’s how long after Ti West’s original slasher the film takes place. Although MaXXXine is the third film in Ti West’s X franchise, its successor Pearl was an X prequel, with MaXXXine being the first proper sequel to X. MaXXXine still follows original X movie protagonist Maxine Minx, although this time in an entirely new location and era.
