Mike Flanagan is developing a television series adaptation of Carrie. Flanagan has adapted many of Stephen King’s past works, including Gerald’s Game, Doctor Sleep, The Life of Chuck, and is currently developing a Dark Tower series adaptation. Carrie is King’s first published novel and has received multiple film adaptations in the past, with the most famous being the 1976 version starring Sissy Spacek in the titular role and with John Travolta as Billy Nolan.
