Statham is one of the few movie stars left who can turn a movie into a blockbuster based on their involvement alone. Statham is the only reason The Beekeeper was a box office hit. Even when it comes to his own franchises, like Crank, The Meg, and The Expendables, its Stathams star power that draws in the crowds, not the I.P.
