Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has raced past Dune: Part Two for a major 2024 Warner Bros. record. Both movies are well-received sequels, with Denis Villeneuve’s follow-up to his 2021 sci-fi epic Dune earning a Certified Fresh 92% score on Rotten Tomatoes. It was followed six months later by the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice release. The legacy sequel to the 1988 horror-comedy, which re-teams director Tim Burton with stars Michael Keaton, Catherine O’Hara, and Winona Ryder, is now in its seventh weekend and has also been Certified Fresh with a 77% score.
