Disney’s popular animated series Phineas and Ferb is returning for a brand-new fifth season soon, and there’s already a lot to know about the cartoon’s revival. Airing for four seasons between 2007 and 2015, the series concerns step-brothers Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher, who spend their summer vacation concocting elaborate and sometimes dangerous schemes. While dodging their controlling older sister Candace, the two are unaware that their pet platypus, Perry, is actually a secret agent tasked with foiling the plans of the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz. With its strange and playful concept, Phineas and Ferb stood apart from Disney’s other fare.
