Just like many of the biggest franchises currently running, Supernatural created a multiverse, but unlike the cinematic universes, most of these other worlds were explored within the main show. Considering the show’s extraordinary run from 2005 to 2020, there was a lot of time to fill with stories across 327 episodes of Supernatural. While the show started with humble horror beginnings that saw it lean heavily into supernatural horror stories with demons and terrifying monsters, it quickly evolved into an emotional and dramatic fantasy series that revolved around two brothers.
