With its massively positive reviews, Transformers One seems like it should have been a box office hit, but it has struggled to make enough money to become a true success. Regardless of its monetary status, the film has been wildly praised, with much of that going towards the performances of Transformers One‘s cast and the excellent, heartbreaking story being told, that being the origins of Optimus Prime and Megatron.
