The Golden Bachelorette contestant Mark Anderson is finally speaking out about his unexpected elimination by Joan Vassos, after he was considered a frontrunner to win her heart. Bachelor Nation first met and fell in love with Mark during Joey Graziadei’s Bachelor season. Joey got engaged to Mark’s daughter, Kelsey, and she’d shared the story of her mother, Denise, who’d passed away from breast cancer six years ago. As a widower, Mark had a lot in common with Joan, who lost her husband, John, to pancreatic cancer in 2021. It made sense that Mark would appear on Joan’s Golden Bachelorette season to try to win her heart.
