Kelli Giddish’s character is a fan-favorite who has made several guest appearances since Rollins was written out in the middle of season 24. Before the series’ new year premiered, there was widespread speculation that Rollins would return in season 26. That theory was squashed when Rollins was given a new job at the Intelligence Unit and, instead, will only make occasional appearances on Law & Order: SVU.
