Max recently added the Mia Goth horror movie, MaXXXine, to their catalog, and it is definitely worth checking out, despite its mixed reviews. MaXXXine was released in July 2024 to a notable amount of fanfare, as it is the final installment in Ti West’s X trilogy. The movie centers on Maxine Minx, an adult film star who finally gets her big break after auditioning for a burgeoning horror franchise. However, Maxine’s claim to fame hits a roadblock when her past, as showcased in 2022’s X, comes back to haunt her. Ultimately, it is a gory homage to 1980s horror.
