During its seven-year run, Once Upon a Time featured a collection of multiple different fairytale and Disney characters, ranging from Snow White and Cinderella, to the Frozen characters Anna and Elsa. However, despite the show trying to stay up to date with recent Disney releases, one Disney princess who never appeared in the show was Moana. Although she didnt appear in person, elements of the hit 2016 film Moana did make it into the plot of the show. Maui was a fearsome sea legend, introduced in the shows seventh season. Although Maui didnt appear himself, his famous fish hook did.
