Parker Finn’s follow-up to his 2022 horror film Smile, the Naomi Scott-led sequel escalates the scope of the story by shifting the Entity a monstrous creature that travels through trauma and infects the minds of its victims before possessing and killing them into the brain of pop star Skye Riley. This gives the film plenty of natural reason to feature bombastic pop music, highlighting the musical skills of Scott.
