Super Megaforce introduced the concept of Legendary Ranger Keys and created a major plot hole that ended up rewriting Power Rangers history. Despite its poor reception, Super Megaforce is one of the most important Power Rangers seasons. Not only did it celebrate the franchises 25th anniversary, but it also revisited a lot of previous teams and costumes through the Legendary Rangey Key concept. Based on Gokaiger, Super Megaforce served as the second season of Power Rangers Megaforce and brought back all of the main characters, this time with new powers and weapons.
