Reba McEntire’s new NBC comedy Happy’s Place has cast her onscreen daughter. The show, which will premiere on October 18, will center on McEntire’s character, Bobbie, as she navigates some surprising family dynamics. Bobbie’s life is thrown for a loop when she learns that, not only has she inherited her late father’s bar, but she has a half-sister in her 20s (Belissa Escobedo). This project marks McEntire’s return to leading her own series following her eponymous sitcom Reba and ABC’s Malibu Country.
