The third show in the CBS FBI franchise, FBI: International, returned for its fourth season in late 2024, but will the series score a season 5 renewal? Created by TV maven Dick Wolf and Derek Haas, International takes the procedural overseas and follows the FBI’s elite “Fly Team” headquartered in Budapest as they neutralize threats to the U.S. abroad. The show represents a major shift for the popular franchise, and moves the exciting action to brand-new shores which opens the door for unique storytelling opportunities. Regardless of the cases, International still invests time in its roster of characters as well.
