Lonely Planet lands in the top three on Netflix’s global chart just days after its release. Written and directed by Susannah Grant, the Oscar-nominated screenwriter behind Erin Brockovich, Netflix’s new romantic drama follows a successful female novelist who, while on a retreat in Morocco, meets a younger man and their acquaintanceship unexpectedly evolves into an intoxicating, life-altering love affair.
