Marco Ramirez is breaking out into the world of sports dramas with La Mquina. Having begun his career as a writer on the Emmy-nominated and winning dramas Sons of Anarchy and Orange is the New Black, Ramirez began making a name for himself in the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a writer for Daredevil, as well as the co-showrunner of season 2 with Douglas Petrie, before going on to be the co-creator and showrunner for Netflix’s MCU crossover, The Defenders. More recently, Ramirez was also the co-developer of Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone reboot.
