An early reaction to Gladiator II promises that the sequel film will be more violent than the original. Over two decades later, Scott returns with Gladiator II, which will continue to explore Maximus’ legacy after his death. Gladiator II features a leading cast including Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Denzel Washigton, and Paul Mescal. It is set for release on November 22.
