The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom makes a lot of changes to gameplay compared to other titles in the series, particularly by putting Zelda in the leading role without the classic sword and shield combination to fight evil. As the most recent game in a long-running franchise, there are plenty of references to previous titles scattered throughout the game’s world.
