Ready or Not 2 is a go. The original 2019 movie, made by Radio Silence (which includes directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett as well as executive producer Chad Villella), followed a young bride (Samara Weaving) playing a deadly game of hide and seek with her new groom’s family, who have made a deal with the sinister Le Bail in exchange for their great wealth. Though the sequel Ready or Not 2 wasn’t immediately greenlit, it was both a critical and commercial success, earning a Certified Fresh score of 89% and grossing $57.6 million worldwide against its $6 million budget.
