Brandon Sanderson will begin writing Era 3 of his Mistborn series in 2025, with the third trilogy being referred to as the Ghostbloods Trilogy, and it will have one massive advantage over Era 2. Based on the success of Era 1 (Original Trilogy) and then Era 2 (Wax and Wayne Series), the third era is expected to have further success as it continues to evolve Mistborns ever-expanding magical system and timeline with a new story.
