Ghosts must fix a story problem that has been building for three years to maintain the ability for the show to be believable. The series first launched on CBS in 2021, strongly inspired by a BBC series of the same name. While the American Ghosts series is wildly different from its British counterpart, many U.S. Ghosts characters based on the UK version exist, drawing numerous connections between the series, critically acclaimed in their respective nations. If the American series wants to continue to follow the success of its predecessor, there’s one detail that it should include moving forward to follow Ghosts UK’s example.
