Amy and her sister Tammy Slaton are stars of the reality TV show which began documenting their journeys when their weights reached a combined 1000 plus pounds. Amy wished to do away with her health issues and become a mom, so she worked hard towards getting approved for gastric bypass surgery in 2019 through her doctor’s prescribed diet and exercise regimen. Amy was able to lose 136 pounds by sticking to her goals.
