The 2023 fantasy adventure movie, set in the world of the iconic role-playing game, starred Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Reg-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant. Despite adapting a popular property, the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves box office was a disappointment. It grossed $208.2 million against its huge $150 million budget. Although it was the 30th highest-grossing movie of the year, above hits like Scream VI, it was seemingly proving unable to meet its break-even point, which was likely $375 million or more.
