Sister Wives was supposed to be a show about a functional polygamous family, but it ended up chronicling their dissolution instead. The Brown family made their television debut in 2010. The show’s premiere season documented the patriarch of the family, Kody Brown, marrying his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, as his other three wives looked on. They were a very different family back then. They all lived under one expansive roof, with each wife running her wing of the house, with Kody going back and forth.
