Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2 has cast its first new character with a star from 2022’s Predator prequel Prey. Monarch season 2 was confirmed by Apple TV+ in April 2024, following the major success of season 1. The show is the first live-action TV entry in Legendary’s Monsterverse, taking a deeper dive into the role of its titular government organization. While Godzilla was a key focus of season 1, the follow-up was teased to have Kong as a more central character following his surprise appearance in the finale.
