Written and directed by Rungano Nyoni, known for I Am Not a Witch, the new A24 film follows a young woman who discovers the body of her uncle on an empty road in the middle of the night and, as the funeral proceedings begin around them, she and her cousins bring to light long-buried secrets of their middle-class Zambian family. The cast includes Susan Chardy, Elizabeth Chisela, Henry B.J. Phiri, Roy Chisha, and Blessings Bhamjee.
