Selena Gomez confirms that Alex Russo’s business isn’t finished yet, as she teases that her next appearance in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place may come sooner than expected. The 2024 Disney Channel series is a sequel to Gomez’s teen sitcom that ran from 2007 to 2012 and focused on a family of wizards living in New York, as Alex studied magic alongside her siblings. In Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, Alex reconnects with her brother and former wizard Justin (David Henrie), asking for his help to mentor wizard-in-training Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown). However, reports indicated that Gomez’s appearance would be in a guest star capacity.
