Much of wrestling history reflects on how WCW was WWE’s biggest competitor of the 90s, but ECW can’t be left out of that conversation. While ECW wasn’t on course to beat WWE in the ratings for 83 weeks like Eric Bischoff, Extreme Championship Wrestling did largely inspire many of the sensibilities of modern wrestling.
