The DC Universe is a month away from the debut of the story that DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn called “the saddest thing I’ve ever written in my life” – and based on his career, this sets a high bar for what’s to come. With the upcoming DC Universe release roster shortly about to begin hitting screens, the first few projects set to debut have a crucial place in ensuring the success and stability of the new era of DC’s cinematic history. While much of what’s in store is still not clear for the DCU, plenty of its early roster has been confirmed, and is set to arrive from the end of 2024 onward.
