During Kamala Harris’ final rally in Pittsburgh, Katy Perry informed the crowd that she knew the Democratic presidential nominee would protect the future of her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom. Taking the stage during the rally, she expressed her faith in the vice president to do what’s right.
In her speech, Kety Perry told the crowd that she had known Kamala Harris “before she was a Senator.” The singer added, “I’ve always known her to fight for the most vulnerable, to speak up for the voiceless, to protect our rights as women to make decisions about our own bodies.” Perry hyped up Harris and the crowd joined in for a moment before she continued, “I know she will protect my daughter’s future, and your children’s future, and our family’s future.”
Perry addressed the crowd on a personal note as she urged attendees to vote for Kamala Harris. The Grammy-nominated singer emphasized the importance of the 2024 presidential elections and voting for the right leader. She also noted how welcoming her daughter, Daisy, with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, four years ago was the “best decision” she has made. Perry further explained, “She [Daisy] is the reason I am voting for Kamala Harris.”
