Ridley Scott is creating a new Alien movie, and the film finally has a chance to solve some unanswered questions from Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. The most recent entry in the Alien franchise, Alien: Romulus, was a massive box office success. Though it was directed by Fede lvarez, Romulus‘ success spurred several upcoming Alien movies and TV shows, and another Alien film directed by Ridley Scott was confirmed. Scott’s new Alien film, though there are still very few details available, will be the first he’s directed for the franchise since Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, and it could finally end the trilogy he started in 2012.
