Warrior Nun executive producer Dean English has offered an update on the series’ planned movie trilogy after one year of silence after its revival was announced. After Warrior Nun season 2 ended, the show was cancelled by Netflix, resulting in a global fan campaign to have the series continue. In August of 2023, English announced the series would return with a movie trilogy. However, following the announcement that original showrunner Simon Barry would not be involved in this new iteration, news has been scarce about the status of the project.
