Prior to the release of Outer Banks season 4, part 2, the shows creators and cast have confirmed that the popular teen drama will be coming to an end after season 5. Outer Banks became a massive hit following its Netflix premiere in the spring of 2020, following the treasure-hunting misadventures and class conflicts of a group of teens, nicknamed the Pogues, living in North Carolinas Outer Banks. Since that first hit season, Outer Banks main characters have gone on increasingly dangerous and high-stakes treasure hunts that often take them across the globe.
