Sydney Sweeneys religious horror movie Immaculate is very similar to Rosemarys Baby but it crosses the one line that Rosemarys Baby refused to cross. Immaculate, much like Rosemarys Baby, revolves around an unfortunate young woman being targeted by a Satanic cult and impregnated with the Antichrist. Whereas Rosemarys Baby revolves around an unsuspecting tenant living in a creepy old New York apartment building harboring some very dark secrets, Immaculate revolves around a young nun staying at a beautiful Italian convent harboring some very dark secrets.
