The Who’s the Boss? sequel show with original stars has been scrapped after two years of development, though it isn’t dead quite yet. Aired on ABC for eight seasons from 1984 to 1992, the sitcom follows a former Major League Baseball player Tony Micelli (played by Tony Danza) who, with his daughter Samantha Micelli (Alyssa Milano), moves to Fairfield, Connecticut and takes a job as a live-in housekeeper for a divorced advertising executive, Angela Bower (Judith Light). In 2022, it was reported that a Who’s the Boss? sequel series, starring Danza and Milano, was in the works at Amazon Freevee.
