The long-awaited second installment of the gruesome Netflix series is officially on the way, with a release date of December 26, 2024 finally announced. With this announcement came the first trailer for the coming episodes, which sees Gi-hun follow through on his promise to do all he can to stop the horrible games that changed his life. Though this promises to be every bit as exciting as season 1, Squid Game throwing Gi-hun back into the competition is a strange move.
