Lionsgate has announced the Never Let Go Blu-ray and DVD release date for its latest horror drama starring Oscar winner Halle Berry. This comes after over a month since the film made its theatrical release.
“In this new psychological thriller, as an evil takes over the world beyond their front doorstep, the only protection for a mother and her twin sons is their house and their family’s protective bond,” reads the synopsis. “Needing to stay connected at all times — even tethering themselves with ropes — they cling to one another, urging each other to never let go. But when one of the boys questions if the evil is real, the ties that bind them together are severed, triggering a terrifying fight for survival.”
When is the Never Let Go Blu-ray and DVD release date?
Never Let Go will now be available to rent or own on Blu-ray and DVD on digital platforms starting on December 3. Since its debut, the film received mixed reviews from critics, with a Tomatometer rating of 56% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The film was directed by Crawl’s Alexandra Aja from a screenplay co-written by KC Coughlin and Ryan Grassby. The ensemble cast also includes Percy Daggs IV, Anthony B. Jenkins, Matthew Kevin Anderson, Christin Park, and Stephanie Lavigne. In addition to leading the cast, Berry was also executive producing alongside Holly Jeter, Daniel Clarke, Emily Morris, Christopher Woodrow, and Connor DiGregorio. It was produced by Aja, Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Dan Levine.
