Though originally intended as a limited series, Obi-Wan Kenobi now has the potential to expand into season 2, and there are many reasons why this would be a good idea for Star Wars to pursue. While Obi-Wan Kenobi wasn’t a massive critical success at the time of its release, the show was still a hit amongst audiences who had been waiting nearly twenty years to see both Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen return to Star Wars. That alone has always made Obi-Wan Kenobi a special Star Wars TV show. Sadly, it was never supposed to go beyond a single season.
