Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso has broken his silence on his loss at Crown Jewel 2024. The event saw the reunion of the original members of The Bloodline — Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, and Jimmy Uso — teaming up together after a long while.
They faced the new Bloodline, consisting of Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu. Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso, who had been struggling for weeks against Sikoa’s faction. They both finally received a helping hand from Jey Uso.
Despite reuniting with his brother, Jey Uso did not fully trust Roman Reigns. During the match, a notable moment occurred when Reigns called for a tag, but Jey chose to tag Jimmy instead. Reigns also glared at Jey while Jimmy asked why he did not tag him in. It seemed that Jey Uso’s lack of trust in Roman comes from the troubles he had caused Jey over the years.
Ultimately, the match demonstrated that The Bloodline’s new alliance was too strong, with Solo Sikoa pinning Roman Reigns after delivering a couple of Samoan Spikes. While fans anticipated a win for the original Bloodline members, it surprised them to see them suffer a loss.
This also marked a rare occasion where Roman Reigns took a clean pin. Following the defeat, Jey Uso sent a message breaking his silence.
Jey Uso’s reaction: What he said after the loss
Jey Uso recently took to Instagram to address his loss. He shared a video from WWE’s official Instagram page showcasing his entrance from the show and wrote a simple message: “Next time, Saudi.”
Following the shocking loss, chaos erupted as the new Bloodline continued their attack on Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso. The arena erupted with cheers when Sami Zayn’s music hit, and he rushed into the ring.
Initially, it seemed Zayn had come to support Solo Sikoa, but he ultimately turned on him. Reigns, Jey, and Jimmy joined forces to take out the remaining members, leaving Sikoa alone in the center of the ring.
Surrounded by Reigns, Jimmy, Jey, and Zayn, Sikoa found himself alone. Reigns aimed to deliver a Superman Punch to Sikoa while Zayn attempted a Helluva Kick simultaneously. However, Sikoa dodged, causing Zayn to accidentally strike Reigns instead.
While Solo Sikoa laughed, Jimmy Uso confronted Zayn, looking upset. Jey intervened to keep the two apart. After regaining his composure, Reigns also appeared visibly upset. It will be interesting to see what unfolds next in this storyline.
