Venom: The Last Dance sets up a way to make Eddie Brock’s son a replacement for both Venom and Spider-Man should Sony wish to capitalize on the opportunity. While Venom: The Last Dance‘s ending left hope the Marvel symbiote will return in some form or fashion going forward, it seems clear that if the Sony Spider-Man Universe is to continue onwards, it will be at least for the time being without the version of the Lethal Protector that audiences grew to love.
