Game Of Thrones author George R. R. Martin reveals that a Braavos spinoff was scrapped, and he may eventually return to the idea. First airing on HBO in 2011, Game of Thrones would go on to become one of the channel’s most-watched shows ever. After a divisive conclusion in 2019, the world of Westeros returned with House of the Dragon in 2022, and another spinoff called A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight is confirmed to be on the way. A variety of other spinoffs, however, are either in development or have been canceled.
